Service Alert

If there's a state government shutdown due to lack of a 2017 – 2019 Washington budget, many services provided by the Department of Labor & Industries would not be available starting July 1. L&I has a full list of service interruptions should there be a full or partial shutdown.

Immediately After an Accident

Get Medical Help

L&I will pay for the first medical appointment and an ambulance, if needed. Workers have the right to choose their doctor.

Get the Facts

Document what caused the injury, talk with your employee, and verify all the information in the accident report you will receive from L&I.

File Employer's Report of Accident

Form for Employer to tell L&I the Employer's side of the story of the accident. Workers still must file their own ROA in order to receive benefits.
