
Billing L&I Using Provider Express Billing (PEB)
Electronic Remittance Advice
Follow the steps below to access the detailed Remittance Advice (PDF) through our Provider Express Billing application — even if you don’t use PEB to bill us. The Remittance Advice (PDF) is a searchable document that makes it easy to find out if your bills have been paid, are still pending, or have been denied, and why.

Log on here https://secure.lni.wa.gov/home.
Need a PEB account?
Create one here My L&I. Then follow the instructions below.
After you are inside My L&I
- Click the Provider Express Billing application.
- From the main menu on the left, select Retrieve Remittances.
- Under Step 1, use the drop-down menu to select the Remittance Advice (PDF) file type.
About the 835 file
- Through PEB, you can also retrieve an electronic 835 file that gives basic information about payments but does not include L&I’s detailed Explanation of Benefits.
- If you want a clearinghouse to receive your 835 file, complete a Power of Attorney for Electronic Remittance Advice (F248-355-000) and fax it to 360-902-6192.
- If you want to receive the 835 file yourself, call us at 360-902-6511.
