Physical Medicine Best Practices Project

The vision of this project is to ensure workers receive effective, efficient, timely and consistent physical and occupational therapy services which focuses on clinically meaningful improvement in function and return to work.

To form the group, 2 members were appointed by the Washington Occupational Therapy Association (WOTA) and 2 members were appointed by the Physical Therapy Association of Washington (PTWA) and L&I selected the other members.

Purpose

  • Serve as a professional resource to inform L&I decisions.
  • Contribute to development of proposals.
  • Manage feedback from association members.

Meetings are open to the public

  • Time for public comment will be scheduled at the end of each meeting.
  • Agendas will be available prior to each meeting.
  • Draft work products are available on the Materials for Comment page.
