Executive Management Bio: Roy Plaeger-Brockway

Roy Plaeger-Brockway has been the Senior Program Manager for Health Services Analysis since 2002. Prior to that, Roy managed HSA’s program analysis and development group for six years, where he was instrumental in developing the department’s successful Centers of Occupational Health and Education.

Roy began his career in state government 22 years ago with an executive internship in state government while completing his Masters Degree in Public Administration at the University of Washington. Throughout his career Roy has focused his efforts on improving health care services. He has been involved in a wide variety of projects, including health care cost containment, quality improvement, and health care delivery system design. His professional interests include leadership and organizational development, occupational health services quality improvement, disability prevention, physician compensation, and performance measurement.

Roy and his wife, Mariel, have two sons, ages 18 and 15.
