Public Works Projects for Awarding Agencies

March 2017

Awarding Agency Portal

The Public Works Projects for Awarding Agencies (Awarding Agency Portal) is designed to help awarding agencies manage their legal requirements with L&I.

Get started

First, review the step-by-step instructions (1.8 MB PDF). Each agency must have an Agency Administrator assigned to the portal. We tell you how to do that in the guide.

Give feedback

If you used a Prevailing Wage tool, take a two-minute survey.

Save time and effort

These new features can help you work more efficiently.

  • Create a project with the name and contract number you choose. The system:
    • Validates the prime contractor for you, and
    • Sends a pre-populated intent to the prime contractor that is ready to complete with the name and contract number you entered.
  • View alerts about contractor status changes and intents or affidavits not filed.
  • Create a Notice of Completion online. The system pre-populates form fields with data from intents and affidavits.
  • Email a Notice of Completion in one click to:
    • Department of Revenue,
    • Employment Security, and
    • L&I.
  • Complete a Small Works Combined Form online.
