Public Works Projects for Awarding Agencies

February 2019

Awarding Agency Portal

The Public Works Projects for Awarding Agencies (Awarding Agency Portal) is designed to help awarding agencies manage their legal requirements with L&I.

Get started

First, review the step-by-step instructions (1.9 MB PDF). Each agency must have an Agency Administrator assigned to the portal. We tell you how to do that in the guide.

Give feedback

If you used a Prevailing Wage tool, take a two-minute survey.

Monitor, Track & Report Your Apprentice Utilization

Easily track and manage your apprentice utilization requirements (AURs) on public works projects when required. Review frequently asked questions (407 KB PDF) for more information about the apprentice utilization requirement.

Go to a project to…

  • See and indicate if apprentice utilization is required on a project.
  • Monitor real-time utilization: Based on certified payroll reports that are filed using L&I's system, this option provides real-time data to help you manage utilization during the project.
  • Identify final utilization rates: Based on the affidavits filed once a contractor has completed their portion of the project, this option provides the final utilization data once the project is completed and all affidavits are filed.
