Service Alert

If there's a state government shutdown due to lack of a 2017 – 2019 Washington budget, many services provided by the Department of Labor & Industries would not be available starting July 1. L&I has a full list of service interruptions should there be a full or partial shutdown.

L&I hears from employers

L&I is checking-in with employers whom we recently contacted because they have a new workers’ comp claim.

The Early Contact Team aims to help employers make decisions about how to handle their claims, with a goal of delivering the best possible outcome for the employer and their injured worker.

Ipsos, an independent research firm, is interviewing these employers to see if we successfully provided assistance and resources that help with their claim.

If someone from your firm or organization spoke with the Early Contact Team, you may be contacted by an Ipsos survey interviewer within 2-3 weeks after the call. The survey typically takes about 10 minutes.

All results will be anonymous and you won’t be asked to reveal any information about your firm or organization.

We appreciate your willingness to help us deliver excellent service!
