L&I Surveys Underway in March and April

L&I is listening to medical providers and their staffs and we're hearing from injured workers and employers who have time-loss workers' compensation claims.

For medical providers, we want to make it easier for you to work with us and create the best possible outcomes for injured workers and employers. In response to previous surveys, we've made several changes including dedicating three staff to help providers solve problems and resolve billing issues.

For injured workers and employers, we want to improve how we communicate and respond to your needs. For example, previous surveys show that workers and employers are more satisfied when L&I makes an introductory phone call early in a claim, so we now emphasize those calls.

Ipsos, an independent research firm, will conduct the survey during March and April. Injured workers and employers will be contacted by phone, while medical providers and their staff will be contacted either by phone or with an online survey delivered by email.

The surveys take about 10 minutes to complete. Participation is voluntary and your answers will not be associated with your name without your consent.
