Wearing fall protection can save your life.

Falls, chemicals, non-ionizing radiation, and electrical exposures are hazards that workers face when doing construction, maintenance and repair on communication towers. Injuries from these types of hazards can be serious or fatal.

Employers can reduce injury risk to the employees by taking preventive measures such as:

  • Addressing all hazards in an effective accident prevention program;
  • Provide training to workers;
  • Conduct a hazard assessment for the use PPE;
  • Conduct a job hazard analysis;
  • Do a pre-climb safety check;
  • Implement a fall protection work plan for the job site;
  • Provide and require the use of fall protection.
