Descriptions of Recent Fatalities

  • A worker sustained fatal injuries after falling 20 feet from a second floor deck to the concrete surface below. (9/4/19)
  • A worker sustained fatal injuries after being trapped underneath a center point self-irrigator.(8/16/19).
  • A worker sustained fatal injuries after the worker attempted to jump out of the way of a moving semi-trailer, fell, and crushed by the trailer. (7/29/19).
  • A worker sustained fatal injuries after when a tractor, the worker was operating, tipped over while pulling out of an orchard row. (7/26/19).
  • A worker sustained fatal injuries after a dump truck backed over the worker. (7/22/19).
  • A worker was seriously injured but later died from those injuries after a large tire the worker was changing exploded. (6/15/19).
