Help With Terms Used in Lookup
This list explains the terms used as field names in Look Up: Contractors or Tradespeople.

| Field Name | Explanation |
| License | Numbers assigned by L&I. |
| Licensee name | The company name. |
| Licensee type | What the license is for: construction, electrical, plumber. |
| UBI | The Washington business license number. Also included is a link to verify that the business carries worker' compensation for employees. |
| Ind. Ins. Account ID | The business must have an Industrial Insurance account with L&I if it has employees. |
| Business type | Details the structure of the business, individual, partnership, corporation, or limited liability company. |
| Status | The business should be listed as "active." Anything other than an active status indicates potential problems. |
| Expiration date | Indicates how much time remains before renewal is necessary. |
| Business owner information | The name of the owner(s). |
| Bond information | The newest active bond is first, followed by those that are older or expired. |
| Savings information | If there is no bond, an assignment of savings should be listed in this field. |
| Insurance information | Lists the amount of property damage that is covered. |
| Summons/complaints Information | Any lawsuits filed against a contractor's bond in Superior Court. |
| Judgments | Lists the outcomes of lawsuits. |
