Continuing education is required for renewal

Installer certification is valid for three years. Certified installers must attend a continuing education course to qualify for certification renewal. Certified installers must complete their required continuing education and the renewal application process prior to expiration of their certificate.

Continuing education classes available

L&I's Continuing Education (listed in the schedule below) — Use this form to register for them:

Get continuing education credit at Labor & Industries Contractor Training Days.
Installers who are unable to attend a continuing education class may attend a regularly scheduled installer training class and receive continuing education credit.
