Wage and Hour Surveys

New Surveys Scheduled for 2017 and 2018

L&I is planning wage and hour surveys for the next 12 months to establish prevailing wage rates for several trades. The 9 trades will be divided into 2 rounds.

Round 1

  • Building Service Maintenance (Janitors).
  • Outside Telephone Line Construction.
  • Ship Building and Ship Repairing.
  • Truck Drivers.

Round 2

  • Construction Site Surveyors.
  • Electronic Technicians.
  • Landscape Construction.
  • Motor Shop Electricians.
  • Telecommunication Technicians.

How will I participate?

We offer the option to file survey forms online or using a paper form. More information will be available soon.

Who receives a survey announcement?

L&I identifies companies who likely employed workers in the field and timeframe being surveyed. Other interested parties, such as labor unions, also are included. Participation in the survey process is voluntary.

I did not receive an announcement but want to participate

If your company does not receive a survey announcement letter but employed workers who are eligible to be reported on a survey, you may still participate in the survey process.
