In accordance with the Governor's directive, the following information outlines the Department of Labor & Industries proposed supplemental operating budget.
L&I's proposed budget reductions also include a $2,277,000 reduction in the Crime Victims' Compensation Program, and $325,000 in indirect costs (program support areas such as administration, payroll and information services). The Crime Victims and administrative reduction proposals do not include elimination of FTEs. L&I also has proposed to eliminate the Factory-Assembled Structures program, which includes eliminating 19 positions.
