Worker Safety

This Web page contains information specific to the Governor's GMAP process.
Included you will find:

PowerPoint GMAP slides (listed below) available to state agencies reporting their worker safety statistics to the Governor.

The "HRMR Safety Report Overview", which will assist you in interpreting the charts and data in the slides.

The reporting period is now by calendar year.

"All" and "Compensable" claims rates only are reported.

The comparison to all combined agencies has been removed.

The OIICS coding is at the one digit Division level.

Claims categorized as "cumulative trauma" are reported together in the pie chart, and itemized in the accompanying table.

A link to the U.S. Department of Labor, Bureau of Labor Statistics' Web page that supplies further information on the Occupational Injury and Illness Classification System (OIICS) injury "event" codes and descriptions.

The slides will be refreshed every six months. New slides will be available each year on the 20th of March and the 20th of September. To download the slides for your agency, please click on link and save to your local drive.
