Hour-long session planned for May 22, spotlights Return to Work grants

Tumwater – The Department of Labor & Industries has scheduled a webinar to showcase the value of its Return to Work grant program and encourage more applicants to seek funding.

Scheduled for May 22, the hour-long webinar will spotlight the benefits of the grant program, which includes support from Labor & Industries to help applicants with the grant process.

To register for the webinar, contact Jenifer Jellison, grant program manager, at or call 360-902-5588.

Return to Work grants help Washington state industries bring to life innovative ideas that will get injured employees back on the job sooner and reduce long-term disability.

"Getting injured employees back to work as soon as medically possible can save a business thousands of dollars," said Jellison. "A quick return to work reduces long-term disability, keeps premium costs down for employers, lets an employer retain valuable employees, and reduces cost for the workers’ comp system."
