Tractors

Red farm tractor plowing a field. Caption reads: Farm tractors are dangerous and are often operated by workers with limited training. While tractor hazards have been identified for years, the same injuries and accidents continue to occur. But most deaths and injuries could be prevented. The best way for a tractor operator to stay safe is by knowing the capabilities of the tractor, how to operate it and how to maintain it. Ensuring that seat belts and Rollover Protective Structures (ROPS), essentially roll bars, are installed on every tractor will also significantly reduce the risk of tractor-related fatalities.
