On June 1, 2022, L&I released an emergency rule-making order (WSR 22-12-095) amending the current outdoor heat exposure rules. To initiate the permanent rulemaking process, a CR-101 (Pre-proposal statement of inquiry) was filed in August 2021. As we move forward with our permanent rulemaking process we are requesting feedback from our stakeholders. An initial draft of the permanent rule language will be shared prior to the upcoming virtual stakeholder meeting. Please join the conversation.
