The Board of Boiler Rules and L&I proposed changes to the Boiler rule, Chapter 296-104 WAC, on January 2, 2024, under WSR 24-02-070. The changes affect safety codes, installer and clearance requirements, and fees for boilers and pressure vessels.

An update on the status of this rulemaking will be provided during the quarterly board meeting. A public hearing on the proposed amendments is scheduled for 10:20 a.m. on February 21.
