The Board of Boiler Rules and L&I proposed changes to the Boiler rule, Chapter 296-104 WAC. The changes affect safety codes, installer and clearance requirements, and fees for boilers and pressure vessels. L&I filed the proposed amendments on January 2, 2024 (WSR 24-02-070). A CR-102 Continuance was filed on April 16, 2024 (WSR 24-09-062).

An update on the status of this rulemaking will be provided during the quarterly board meeting. A public hearing on the proposed rules is scheduled for 10:20 a.m. on May 22.
