The Workers' Compensation Advisory Committee (WCAC) was created by the Washington State Legislature in 1971 (RCW 51.04.110). Members include representatives from business, organized labor, self-insured employers and the Board of Industrial Insurance Appeals (BIIA). The WCAC meets at least every quarter.
