Labor & Industries (L&I) plans to file a CR-101 Preproposal Statement of Inquiry to consider changes to the elevator rules. The changes under consideration would increase fees by the fiscal growth factor rate for inspections of conveyances and other Elevator Program services. The increase is needed to cover operating expenses for the Elevator Program.

An update on the status of this rulemaking will be provided during the quarterly ESAC meetings.
