About the Conveyance Management Portal
On Feb. 26, 2025, L&I’s Elevator Program will launch a new Conveyance Management Portal (CMP, or Portal) that provides permitting, inspection, and other services to you and agency staff. Demonstrations for customers will start this later this summer with training to begin this winter.

The following are user guides and videos providing a quick way to learn how to use the Portal. For questions, please contact CMPTraining@Lni.wa.gov.
Renew an Annual Operating Certificate (video, about 5 minutes)
Submit Proof of Correction, or request an extension or waiver (video, about 10 minutes)
Print documents from the Conveyance Management Portal (video, about 5 minutes)
Scheduled training opportunities
We've scheduled the training sessions for varying times, dates, and audiences. If you miss one training, feel free to attend another. You can bring your questions to an open house, or email CMPTraining@Lni.wa.gov.
- Feb. 11, 8-9:30 a.m., Contractors. Join the meeting
- Feb. 19, 9-11 a.m., Building owners/Property managers. Join the meeting
- Feb. 26, 9:30-11 a.m., Registration support for all customers. Join the meeting
- Feb. 27, 10:30 a.m-noon, Registration support. Join the meeting
- March 4, 10:30 a.m.-noon, Contractor - Apply for a permit, Renew/reinstate permit, Proof of Correction process. Join the meeting
- March 6, 10 a.m.-noon, Building owners/Property managers - Annual Operating Certificates, Inspection corrections. Join the meeting
- March 11, 1-3 p.m., Open house - bring your questions (no formal presentation).

- March 20, 8:30-9:30 a.m., Open house - bring your questions. Join the meeting

ESAC meetings
Elevator Safety Advisory Committee (ESAC) meetings are a great resource to hear and learn what's going on with the Portal - amongst other things. We'd love to see you there.
